Election 2008

This presidential election is THE most important election in this nation's history. We have an African American and a woman on the ballots. This election is going to set the tone for international politics for the next 4 to 8 years.

Regardless of your political affiliation - Democrat or Republican - get out and VOTE. It's your right as an American citizen to vote. Voter turnout for presidential elections is around 50%. Why have half the country make decisions for the majority. Excercise your right to vote!

It's my birthday

I don't normally care about birthdays, but it's fun this year. I'll be on vacation next week and plan to read read read! OK and maybe clean house. Maybe!

August and vacations

I am planning vacation next week. No big plans - just cleaning house, running errands and reading. Maybe going to the pool if I can handle having this ghostly skin in the direct sunlight.

Hope everyone's having a fun summer! It's been hot and muggy here lately. I thank god for A/C every day!
