Review of Into The Lair

I was fortunate enough to win an ARC (advanced reader copy) of Into The Lair by Maya Banks. Here's my review:

Into The Lair

This is the second book in the Falcon Mercenary Group series. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book (Into The Mist), and this second book was even better. Ian and Braden Thomas are wonderful characters. Filled with sadness over the loss and betrayal of their team mate, they fulfill his dying wish to find his sister, Katie. She could also be the key to finding a cure for their unstable shifting abilities. But Katie has her own problems, namely being on run from a ruthless evil drug lord, the brother of the man she killed. When Ian and Braden finally catch up to her, she thinks they’re the bad guys and tries to run away every chance she gets.

Without giving away too many plot points, the story continues with Ian and Braden trying to convince Katie that they’re not the bad guys and that at some point she’ll have to trust them. Katie keeps them guessing at every turn and really gives them a run for their money.

I am a HUGE fan of ménage a trois stories and I always love those written by Maya. This book is filled with great sex scenes, lots of misunderstandings, and an incredible adventure, this book will keep you glued to your seat the entire time. I had a very hard time putting it down.

I loved this book! The book was a wonderful read and the fact that Maya dedicated the book to me – is a gift I will treasure always. Go get your copy TODAY!

I love the warning on the Samhain web site too:
Warning: Blood, gray matter, guts and gore. Ass kicking, potty mouths, acerbic wit. More mean people, mean people dying, mean people getting what they deserve. Sex...explicit sex, rough sex, ménage a trois, voyeurism, light bondage. Oh, and avalanches.
